Flash Drives Are Perfect Solutions for Amusement Parks

by admin on September 28, 2009

Many people enjoy the thrill of riding a roller coaster up, up, up, then suddenly dropping down, twisting around, going upside down. Jumping off a bungee tower and free falling in the open air, then bouncing back up. Driving go-karts and crashing into friends as they try to pass each other on the track. Just about anyone likes going to an amusement park for some summer excitement.

You want to remember your trip to the park, but you might not want to bring a camera, at least not on all the rides. You don’t want to have to hold it and worry about it falling out when you’re speeding along on the roller coaster. And you know it would be easy for someone to steal a camera if it is just sitting on the ground. Then, when you ride a boat out into a lake you don’t want to get your camera wet. You can have friends take pictures for you, but they want to enjoy rides too, and unless you have a really expensive camera it’s hard to get quality shots when you’re moving fast or are up high far from the person with a camera.

Why not pay the amusement park workers to take pictures for you? A lot of people will be willing to spend some money to get some pictures of them (or their friends) holding their hands up high and screaming in fear as they round a bend on a roller coaster. Most amusement parks already offer pictures on rides, but for a more original idea they could put a person’s pictures on a USB drive to take home.

When a person enters the park, he could pay a certain amount of money to buy a flash drive. He could then take this flash drive to any ride that offers photos and ask to have his picture taken. Once the picture is taken, the workers at the booth for each ride could plug his flash drive into a computer and add the picture to it. That way, when the visitor is ready to go home, he’ll have a flash drive containing pictures from each of the rides. The park could offer prints at the exit and just plug in the flash drive to print out photographs for visitors. They could set up computers with photography software at each booth to easily take pictures and load them onto USB drives. They could even take short video clips so people could hear their screams of fear as they drop through the air.

CFgear offers many options for customizing flash drives, from style of drive to colors to packaging to preloading data. They can also print a logo of the amusement park on each flash drive. That way workers know if visitors are using an “official” park USB drive when they ask for pictures.

Check out CFgear’s website or call them today to find out how you can use bulk USB drives to help people remember their trip to the amusement park.
